light and very portable Jul 20, 2010 We use this fan everyday along with the air conditioner. Its portable enough for anyone to move around and is a big relief in the kitchen when things heat up.
Wind! Jul 07, 2010 A great fan, light weight, easy to move and aim! I have especially appreciated this fan in our immediate 100 plus temps. We use a heat pump which looses effectiveness past the ground level. I place this fan over the top of the floor vent in the kitchen and it sucks up and sweeps the slower trickle of cooler air and spews it out quite well!
Love this FAN!
Big Fan of a Big Fan May 09, 2010 This is the 3rd fan that I've bought in so many years...and finally I own one that is durable, effective and quiet. This is as good as it gets kids. The answer is blowing in the wind.

Excellent Wind Speed and Force Apr 05, 2010 Living in HOT, hot, Florida, I've had many types of fans to help cool us off. The Lasko Wind Machine 3300 is by far the best, most efficient fan I've ever owned.
Wind Machine Fan, 20"
It has the ability to tilt up, or down, which helps get rid of the hot air that collects near the ceiling, when the sun starts to go down, thus cooling the house down faster, and making it more comfy to sleep all night.
The high speed is the best for that job.
This fan comes already assembled, so, just plug it in. It also has nice sized "feet", which stabilizes it on every surface. It's plastic, so, it's lightweight, and easy to move around. I'm an older lady, not much upper body strength, so, this is an added benefit, it's being light enough to carry.
I've attached an extension cord to it, so I don't have to bother much with disconnecting it, if I want it blowing in another room.
All in all, with the tilting, different positions, it's power, and light weight, this is a grand fan!
I got mine at Walmart, for about 25 dollars, and liked it so much, now I have 2!
Oh, they also sit well in windows, if your sill is wide enough.

Great fan at a fair price, but no effective way to clean it. Apr 09, 2009
Pros: Plenty of power to move air, quiet at low settings and not unreasonably loud on high. Not flimsy, plastic construction feels fairly durable. Light and easy to move around with handle - but not so light that it vibrates on hard surfaces.
Cons: Not designed to be thoroughly cleaned. You're left with the option of using a compressed air gun to remove dust/dirt, which won't really do the job entirely.
Bought two of these about 3 years ago. One recently failed - the other is working fine still.
I'm looking for a replacement with removable grilles this time.
