It has superb sound but i had to returned it because it did not have the basic ability to record the cassette when microphone is used.
I hooked up through Auxiliary with computer to record on cassette Karaoke songs while singing on Microphone . It did record the music but voice was missing.
It can record the singer voice if karaoke music Cd is played.

I purchased this for father's day in June,it is not even the end of July. At first we were excited as it has all the features he was looking for. It has a Kareoke feature, but didn't come with a microphone. So we used one that we had (it works with other units) but that didn't work.
After only using it forseveral weeks, the Kareoke portion stopped working and the FM stereo does not pick up any channels at all, just buzzing. Of course, we had thrown away all the original packaging as it all worked at first and intended to keep it. For the price, this is poorly made do don't waste your money. It should last longer than "weeks" before it can be deemed defective.
I just sent the manufacturer an e-mail, let's see how they will take care of the
complaint. If not, will see if Amazon will help me. If we don't get this resolved, I will never order this brand nor will I ever order another item from Amazon.

I was skeptical to order it first since I could not find many reviews for the product. But, I just love it. Its Value for Money. I bought it to gift to someone but now I am keeping it :). It has almost all the features you would want in a portable music system.
