Great looking mailbox, but the paint started peeling only 3 months after we put it outside. I contacted River's Edge, but they would not replace it and tried to pass the buck to the retailers. Horrendous customer service, I'll never buy another one of their products and would strongly NOT recommend this product unless you plan on keeping it indoors...otherwise the paint will start peeling in a few months.

Great product ,super fast shipping. The hardware that came with this,is more than enough to mount it. It looks fantastic. After reading previous comments on this unit, all I did was to spray it fully ,with 3 coats of clear to protect the finish. No problem, and the neighbors Love it, and so do we .Thanks Larry C

the paint started chipping and peeling a few short months after we got it. its a mailbox so its obviously supposed to be outside.. very poor quality, especially for the price we paid!!

I ordered this for my mother for Christmas. (and her last name is Bass) It was a great surprise. I imagined the actual fish was going to be slightly larger than a regular mailbox and it is HUGE. But it was fun. She lives by a lake and it is perfect for her. We love it. Definitely a great conversation piece.
