I'll keep this short and sweet. I've had these for about 7 years now and they work just like the perfect scissors should. The cut is always perfect and I have not had to tighten them ever. Let just say these scissors are the ones I always dream about when I need to cut somthing, and when they are lost you would not believe how ticked off I get!

I have a pair of classic Ginghers as well and I must say, that chrome handle just isn't much fun to use after a few hours. These Mundials have a nice molded handle and I find myself reaching for them over the heavier, more expensive pair. As with all of my fabric cutting tools, I reserve them for ONLY cutting fabric and they hold a great edge. This blade length is great for moderate detail work as well.

I have had a pair of these scissors for 20 years - they are fantastic. They are lightweight, oh so comfortable and easy to maneuver. They cut all the way to the end of the blade. I guard mine closely, my kids (and husband) knew they were not allowed to use the 'black handled' scissors for anything! I recently got a new pair and they are just as good! They come with a lifetime warranty, and they mean it! You can't go wrong with these scissors.
