Good idea, but can be finicky Jan 08, 2009
By Craig M. Clark This toy was initially entertaining, but after 20-30 minutes of play knocking one knight or the other off their horse (which causes the horse to stop working) one knight began to fit in the seat sloppily. This kept the horse from functioning because it didn't know he was there. Some minor adjustments with putty allowed us to fix his base so he will always be sensed, but it just wasn't very well engineered to begin with.
The horses are also pretty fast and controls touchy so it's difficult to get a clean "joust", often the victory comes from one horse ramming the other horse and rider into submission without ever using the jousting spear.
seller great - toy not so good Feb 11, 2011
By Adrienne Bashe The seller - end zone hobby center - was a pleasure to purchase from - the product arrived ahead of schedule - but the toy did not work properly. The gears worked for about 30 seconds, and then stopped functioning. We contacted the seller right away, and they responded quickly. They immediately offered to refund the money, and so our Christmas disappointment was not a fiasco. Thank you end zone hobby center!
Less than two minutes Dec 25, 2010
By thunder Got them out of the box pushed the controller forward and the engine stopped making contact with the gears on the red one. This took about 30 seconds. Then the blue one did the same thing a minute later. Crushed happiness.
toys for big boys Feb 15, 2009

"old lady in boots"
I bought this for Christmas for two grown men in the family. (We get them toys because our daughters don't have children yet.) They had a great time competing on horseback-- but they are probably too fragile for little kids. One broke and had to be repaired, so we bought a second set in case of permanent injury!
Bad Copy Feb 10, 2009
By Micah Carlson I picked up this neat little toy for Christmas. Unfortunately, it showed up about a week late. However, the real bad news is that the one I got was a bum copy. I put fresh batteries in, hit all the right switches, but the Knights wouldn't move. Lights on the remote lite up, but there was no response with the figures. I tried different batteries. Nothing. Just about everything I could think of before I gave up on them.
It's a cool toy I'm sure, but for $25-$30 I want one that works. No paperwork was included with packaging for me to do a return. I just donated the toy. Hope you get on that works!
