Absolutely beautiful! Bought it for DD's bedroom, adds so much elegance. However, color has a yellowish undertone and crystals are pink, clear and a bluish-purple. Would've been happier if crystals were only pink and clear but still very gorgeous. Positively no regrets and highly recommended. Bonus: very easy to instal to preexisting ceiling fan and I know absolutely nothing about electrical hardware!

Pretty in Pink is PERFECT! Nov 14, 2010

We decided to use a "shabby chic" theme for our daughters nursery, but knew that we wanted/needed to have a ceiling fan in the room. The Pretty in Pink Chandelier light kit looked like it would be the perfect addition, so I ordered it and the shipment came very quickly. I was impressed with it immediately after opening the box. It was exactly what I hoped for and the image online truly represents the real product. My husband installed the kit himself (with just a little help from me), we agree that the directions were clear and installation was easy. It almost makes the ceiling fan disappear! Everyone raves about the chandelier and it is my favorite part of the room. The Pretty in Pink Chandelier light kit helped to make the nursery almost perfect... we are just waiting for our little princess to arrive for total perfection! (She is due 1/1/11)

I have installed this item in my daughters room. She is 11 years old and loves it. She had a chandelier in her room, but we live in South Louisiana and she needed a ceiling fan for obvious reasons. She wanted to keep her chandelier, but when I showed her this item and told her she could have both a ceiling fan and a chandelier she was sold. The installation was similar to other ceiling fan light kits. The only potential problem is the light bulbs can be no greater than 25 watts each. She has a floor lamp so that is not a problem for us but some customers may need more light. I am sure that if this is the case the fluorescent or LED bulbs could be used rather than an Edison bulb.
I am very satisfied with this product.

This product said it was a universal fitting for ceiling fans when in fact, it is not. Luckily we are handy enough to have made it work by literally ripping apart our old fan fixture. It looks really cute when finished but when you look closely you can see where it doesn't quite fit. I used a little faux painting technique to try to hide the holes that were cut into the original fixture.

I got the ceiling fan light kit unpacked and started putting it together (it comes in like a million pieces) to find out one of the places where I was supposed to hang a jewel from was totally missing. Each jewel you have to install is connected to a small bendable wire that you insert into a little hole/loop and then bend the wire around to hook them in. The product didn't look professionally made to me. The base also was not screwed in correctly and was crooked. It would take someone more technical than I to fix that. I also didn't think the color of the white was antique white, it had a much more yellow tint than I expected. Overall, I was very disappointed. I had to pack everything up (which was another chore) and ship it back.
