Best regular-size filter on the market Sep 25, 2010
By E. M. Creech I've used this filter for 6 years (to the month). I usually replace it monthly, but it can go longer. It removes all odor and particles from our well water and does not cause a significant pressure drop.
I know a person can get "used to" a taste after a while, but from our first visit when thinking about buying this house, I thought the water tasted great. Visiting family & guests have said the same thing. We fill our own water bottles when we leave the house and that probably pays for the cost of the filters vs. buying water.
The water straight from the well has a little sulphur odor and taste and it has a fine sand called "black iron." The Omni carbon filter traps it all. Hint -- If you can, plumb your hose bibs ahead of the filter. Your plants and grass won't care and the filter will last longer.

nice product, fast shipment Jun 12, 2009
By LD in CT good product, very quick ship. Now if someone could just come up with a filter that would last longer--where is the 6-month filter?

Stinky B Gone Jul 13, 2011
By Duckogram Gets rid of sulpher smell in city water. Also filters a large amount of particulate you would not expect to see in city water. The kind of junk that plugs faucet strainers and shower heads.

Price is too high Jan 14, 2011
By Critical This price is too high for a TO1 cartridge. The price from Omni is $6.49 per pack or $12.98 for pack of two.

Omni T01-SS = 5-micron filter Aug 02, 2011
By Scott Wachowski Nothing wrong with these filters, except that they are really rated at 5-microns. Description says 2-micron, but this does not jive with the manufacturers data on the label/package. If you only need 5-micron rating, I'm sure they'd work fine.
