 Magnetic Dart Board hits the spot Jan 15, 2012

The item was on a 6 year old child's wish list. I was unsuccessful finding it locally. Amazon came to the rescue and the gift arrived in time for Christmas. For the price, it was better than I expected. The magnetic darts stuck to the board. It worked as advertised. It was a fun toy for the child and the adults. Instructions were included for scoring. No batteries are necessary. It's old fashioned fun without unnecessary bells and whistles.

This item was great right out of the box. New, sturdy, nicely made. The only problem is that if you hang it directly onto a wall, you kind of have to nail down the corners, otherwise it curls up. Also the darts tend to fall off or not stay on if you throw them too hard, but we found that if she stuff paper behind the dartboard and remove it away from the wall some, it works just fine.

Its nice to know that holes wont be made in my wall when my son and his father play darts inside my house, as well as no one getting hurt. However the magnets have fallen out of two of the darts. Thats probably the only negative thing about it.

The magnetic dart board is perfect for my students who are mastering their basic math facts. Darts has it all - fun and drill!
