 Recepient was happy with the basket-but another thing regarding the supposed enclosed note. Nov 15, 2011

I received an email from Amazon stating the recepient was happy with the basket but they did not know whom it came from. So I am very pleased that the recepient was happy but not happy that they did not receive the gift note. This was for a death in their family who was very close. I mean I can easily contact her but the note was of been much more personal. Not knocking Amazon I am definitely a fan but not happy about this incident.

It looks so nice and the concept is good. But in both cases that I send this sympathy gift basket I never heard from the receiving party that they liked it or not and I didn't feel it was a good idea to bug them about it. Would I recommend it? Yes, but it would be good to find out from the company when it was send and when they could expect it to arrive. I think death is such a touchy subject that it is not this companies fault if the parties I sent these gifts too never thanked me for them.

Bought this for a family as a condolence gift. She said it was beautiful and they enjoyed it very much. It arrived very quickly.
