A Dangerous Dream

Melissa's slim, delicate beauty belies her strength and determination to succeed in her job as assistant manager at a premier Connecticut equestrian facility. Suddenly having the romantic interest of a handsome man and her career on the fast track, her dreams seem about to come true until she enters a stall one morning to find the farm manager unconscious, lying in a pool of blood. Upon awakening, he has no recollection of what happened, launching a police investigation that brings long-kept secrets of the farm's history to the surface. Throughout this upheaval Melissa finds herself drawing closer to David, one of the trainers at the barn who has a reputation for avoiding relationships like the plague. But fate can't be denied and Melissa and David deal with their intense desire for each other as they are plunged into the turmoil threatening the farm to which they've both tied their futures. When David is placed under suspicion by the police and Melissa herself is attacked, they must weave their way through intrigue and danger to protect themselves and their dreams.
